December 1, 2011 (World AIDS Day) -- Bidding begins at noon EST on eBay for BID 2 BEAT AIDS, a massive annual auction of rare and autographed items from stars in music, film, Broadway, sports, and television. Proceeds benefit Lifebeat - Music Fights HIV to support its ongoing AIDS/HIV programs nationwide. Lifebeat has amassed over 300 items for BID 2 BEAT AIDS 2011 including Celebrity Experiences with Bernadette Peters, Joan Rivers, Devo, Michael Feinstein, David Hyde Pierce, Nick Adams, Lisa Lampanelli, and Jerry Springer; instruments signed by Lindsay Buckingham, Pete Wentz, Indigo Girls, Sebastian Bach and Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament; signed books from Madonna, Ricky Martin, Roseanne, Snooki, La Toya Jackson, and Johnny Weir; photos autographed by Liza Minnelli, Debbie Harry, RuPaul, Carol Channing, Barbara Eden, Sharon Gless, and Elvira; and other memoribilia signed by the cast of Glee, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Bacon, Vanessa Williams, Hugh Jackman and many others.

The centerpiece of the auction is a one-of-a-kind celebrity autographed "Lend-A-Hand to Lifebeat" card series. Over 150 stars -- including Brooke Sheilds, Michael Stipe, James Earl Jones, John Leguizamo, Countes Luann de Lesseps, Kara DioGuardi, Jerry Springer, Annie Potts, Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag, Lea DeLaria, Jake Shears, Sutton Foster, Harvery Fierstein, Elaine Paige, Bobby Cannavale, Richard Thomas, Mink Stole, Kristen Chenoweth, Jerry O'Connell, Samuel L. Jackson and Alan Cumming -- have traced their hands on special paper, adding an artistic touch and signature.
