DISTORTED DIZNEE is an outrageous Las Vegas-style parody revue of some of America's most beloved animated classics. Come be Part of Our World as a troupe of fabulous drag queens takes you on a twisted -- and very adult -- journey, where Evil Queens become Mean Girls, Pocahontas is a proud mary, and a little mermaid yearns for the carnal benefits of being an anatomically correct woman. This 75-minute non-stop extravaganza features high-energy dance numbers, pop culture, comedy, dazzling costumes and lip-syncing "ladies"-- with a bit of Cher, Patti LuPone, Idina Menzel, Precious, and Rihanna thrown in for good measure!
The DISTORTED DRAG show series began in March 2012 with the premiere of DISTORTED DIZNEE, originally concieved by Daniel Logan. After gaining a cult following, it spawned the holiday-themed DISTORTED KRISTMESS, as well as the Great White Way parody DISTORTED BROADWAY, the Silver Screen-themed DISTORTED HOLLYWOOD, the Gay Pride extravaganza DISTORTED PRIDE, DISTORTED VALENTINES and DISTORTED HALLOWEEN. In addition to current performers Holly Dae, Bootsie LeFaris, Pixie Aventura, Monet X. Change, Brenda Dharling, and Fifi DuBois, past Distorted Drag performers include Dallas DuBois, Bob The Drag Queen, Sutton Lee Seymour, Shenea DeDranke and Tina Burner. Daniel Logan is no longer involved or affiliated in any way with the current production of DISTORTED DIZNEE.
