“Those who’ve witnessed drag superstar Jackie Beat know what she really is: a piece of trash -- but an amazingly witty, sarcastic, and bitchy piece of trash. Ms. Beat’s wickedly morose humor has split the sides of many unsuspecting spectators, performing your favorite tunes in her own twisted way.” -- Village Voice

“A triple-shot barrage of twisted songs, barbed social commentary, and all-around bad taste” -- Staten Island Advance

"Hostile, lewd, and riotously funny" -- Time Out

JACKIE BEAT, everyone's favorite big and bawdy, bold and ballsy, in-your-face funny "lady" returns to Times Square for one night only. On May 22 at midnight, the self-professed bastard child of "Weird" Al Yankovic and Bette Midler will premiere JACKIE BEAT: ONE MAN’S TRASH at The Laurie Beechman Theater (inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the  A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2,3 trains at 42nd Street). Tickets are $20 plus a $15 food/drink minimum. To purchase tickets call 212-352-3101 or visit www.SpinCycleNYC.com. A full bar and waiter service is available throughout the performance.

In JACKIE BEAT: ONE MAN’S TRASH, America’s most treasured drag star offers up a “Best Of” show featuring some of her most twisted and most often-requested hits. Will she offer up one of her odes to large endowments such as the Dolly Parton-inspired “9 by 5” or the Sir Mix-a-Lot parody “Baby Got Front”? Perhaps “Poo On Me Later” (with apologies to Sade), “Love Crack” (with apologies to The B-52’s) or “Anal Virgin” (with no apologies to Madonna)? Will she warn against the evils of teaching theatre to impressionable, effeminate youths as set to Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama”? Or perhaps “Soup or Salad” (to the tune of “Supersonic”), “Breathlyzer” (to Britney’s “Womanizer”) or “Billy & The Priest” (to the theme from “Beauty & The Beast”)? You will have to come find out for yourself…

Award-winning drag darling JACKIE BEAT has been wowing unsuspecting audiences since 1989.  She has toured with Roseanne Barr -- as the comic legend’s opening act -- including a 7-week run at The New York New York in Las Vegas; written for TV (Hype! and The Sci Fi Channel’s Tripping The Rift) and collaborated on special material with the like of Roseanne, Rosie O’Donnell and Jennifer Coolidge; appeared in countless TV shows (Sex and the City), movies (Grief, Wigstock The Movie, Flawless, Adam & Steve)  and Off-Broadway hits (Valley of the Dolls, Tell-Tale!).  She has been named Best Drag Queen by New York Press and Best Live Performance by HX Magazine.
