Style Network show hostess and drag celebrity BRINI MAXWELL will present her 3rd annual live holiday show, A VERY BRINI CHRISTMAS, for one night only, Sunday, December 4th at 8:00pm. The show will be presented at The Cutting Room (19 West 24th Street -- accessible from the N,R,F,V & 6 trains at 23rd Street). Tickets are $20, available at 212-352-3101 or Theatermania.com. A meet-and-greet session with Brini will follow the performance, which is sponsored by Bacardi Flavors. Special Brini Maxwell merchandise will also be available for purchase.

The most wonderful time of the year gets even more wonderful with A VERY BRINI CHRISTMAS. This heartwarming evening features music, banter and helpful holiday planning tips from BRINI MAXWELL. It will include a variety of standards including "Everybody's Waiting for the Man With the Bag," "Christmas Time is Here" and Brini’s signature song "Entertaining at Home."

Accompanying Maxwell during this intimate night of chat and song will be GLAMA Award nominee The David Downing Trio. This melodious blend of piano, bass & drum, with the occasional saxophone, was called "rare and satisfying... shades of Mel Torme’s swinging mixed with Chet Baker’s laid back cool sound" by Out Magazine.

Since 1998, BRINI MAXWELL has hosted The Brini Maxwell Show, an urban home style show featuring helpful household hints, fabulous new recipes, and lessons in social etiquette -- all with a decidedly 1960’s flair. She lives in a hip, retro-decorated apartment, sports a fabulously kitschy wardrobe and espouses how-to's on everything from cooking and cocktails to DIY gifts and thrift shopping. She's got style, she's got flare... she's got a set of vintage mixing bowls that will be the envy of every flea-market shopper.

A national version of The Brini Maxwell Show debuted on the Style Network in December 2004. The first season featured tons of helpful hints from Brini and appearances by celebrity guest stars including designer Cynthia Rowley and Cosmopolitan diva Helen Gurley Brown. The second season began in October. The Brini Maxwell Show airs Fridays at 2:30 pm on Style Network. Her first book, Brini Maxwell's Guide to Gracious Living; Tips Tricks Recipes and Ideas to Make Your Life Bloom, was just released this month from Stewart, Tabori and Chang and is available everywhere.
