'Tis the season, and what better way to satisfy your sweet tooth than with Ladyfinger, Candy Apple, Caramela, and Gingersnap, aka THE GLAMAZONS? These big, beautiful, bodacious, bountiful, bawdy burlesque babes will premiere their first annual holiday show "Dance of the Sugar PLUMP Fairies" for two nights only this December. the first concert will be Sunday, December 3rd at The Cutting Room (19 West 24th Street, 8:00pm), followed by an encore performance on Saturday, December 16th at Mo Pitkins, 10:00pm (34 Avenue A). "Dance of the Sugar PLUMP Fairies" THE GLAMAZONS will be singing and dancing many of your holiday favorites, including their naughty interpretation of a classic piece from The Nutcracker, as well as hip hop, Broadway, disco, pop, and Middle Eastern tunes. You won't be able to get enough of these holiday presents -- carefully unwrapped just for you!

Once described as the "Plus-Size Pussycat Dolls," THE GLAMAZONS are a song and dance troupe quartet. They have been around for 4 years, started by Meryl "Lady" Finger. The girls have been featured at NYC venues including The Rainbow Room, Supper Club, Roxy, Avalon, Fez and Joe's Pub and in clubs internationally. The Glamazons have been featured on numerous TV shows including the WB11 Morning News, CW11 Morning News, Good Day New York, and The Restaurant. They were recently featured in a coffee table book of large size knitwear called "Big Girl Knits". The girls also moonlight as plus size models for wonderful designers including Abby Z and Monif C.
