JACKIE BEAT, everyone's favorite Grinch, returns to NYC for her 10th annual holiday show. Beginning December 14th, the self-professed bastard child of "Weird" Al Yankovic and Bette Midler will premiere JACKIE BEAT: GIVE 'TIL IT HURTS at The Cutting Room (19 West 24th Street -- accessible from the N,R,F,V & 6 trains at 23rd Street). It all started so innocently in 1998 with Jesus Christ, It's Your Birthday!, a delightful non-denominational holiday tribute featuring such seasonal fare as "Sleigh Ride in Leather With You" and "Black Christmas." When the show was prominently featured in The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Right's 1998 Report on Anti-Catholicism, an annual holiday tradition was born.

Now, a decade later, the bile-filled and always youthful Ms. Beat returns to New York to share her latest thoughts on "the most wonderful time of the year." Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or Ramadan, JACKIE BEAT: GIVE 'TIL IT HURTS is the perfect way to celebrate. This new holiday show is a virtual stocking stuffed with hilarious new seasonal material and some classic Christmas Jackie (including "Oops... It's Christmas Again," "Jew Christmas," "Alcoholidaze", "Sleigh Ride in Leather with You," and "Cancer Don't Care That It's Christmas.") L.A. based performer JACKIE BEAT has been named Best Drag Queen by New York Press and Best Live Performance by HX Magazine. She has appeared on the big screen in the Joel Schumacher/Robert DeNiro film Flawless as well as the indie films Grief and Wigstock. Her stage credits include Valley of the Dolls and Tell-Tale Off-Broadway and numerous live solo shows including Uptown Lady Downtown Girl, How the Bitch Stole Christmas, and I Didn't Mean to Turn You On. She has written for the SciFi Channel, the WB sketch comedy show Hype! and US Magazine's Fashion Police. She has also provided the voice of Bertha on Nickelodeon's animated series Kung-Fu Spy Troll. She is the subject of the documentary film My Name is Jackie Beat culled from over 5 years of performance footage including commentary from Joan Rivers, Margaret Cho, Lady Bunny, and Roseanne Barr (for whom Jackie often performs as an opening act), among others. She is also the lead singer of the popular electroclash band Dirty Sanchez.
