Chicks With Dicks, a long-running cult hit in both Seattle and Phoenix, has announced a 3-week extension at The Kraine Theater -- though May 24th. Bad girls on bikes do bad things in this fun and frisky spoof of trashy 1960’s B-Movies written and directed by Trista Baldwin.

Chicks With Dicks is set in and around Indian Pointe, New York State’s very own nuclear power plant. The irreverently absurd plot centers around Vespa de Amore, a prom queen runner-up who accidentally kills her boyfriend and ends up on the road with an all-girl biker gang named Satan’s Cherries. Further complications arise when the rival gang, the Badsnakes, abducts Vespa’s childhood pal Cindy. This wild ride features plenty of go-go dancing, mud wrestling, hair pulling, and kung-fu fighting as these good girls gone bad get even worse!

The skilled eleven-member cast features Christie Anderson, Cheyenne Casebier, Tami Dixon, Tara Gibson, Carrie Haugh, Polly Humphreys, Ilyana Kadushin, Leslie Klug, Ken Matthews, Mary Monahan and Ean Sheehy. Chicks with Dicks also features set and prop design by Renee Chao, costumes by Jessica Gaffney, hair and makeup design by Chris Clark (Hairspray); lighting design by Jennifer Wilcox, fight direction by Peter Katona (Urban Cowboy), sound design by Dean Snell and original music by James Harrell and Ilyana Kadushin.

Trista Baldwin is a native of Seattle, where her plays were produced by The Empty Space Theater, Pilgrim Center for the Arts, and the Seattle Fringe Festival. In New York, her work has been produced/developed by HERE, Hypothetical Theater Co., EST, Urban Stages, Assembly, and Overlap Productions. Other plays include Prank (Heineman Award Finalist 2002); Sex and Other Collisions (Currican Theatre, NYC), Accidents and Short Conversations (Princess Grace finalist), Leyla in the Afternoon, and Chicks With Dicks II: Battle With Cannibal Sluts in Outer Space!!. Her most recent productions include ElectroPuss, which premiered at the Circle X Theatre in Los Angeles and will receive its Northwest Premiere at Stark Raving Theater this July, and Patty Red Pants, which played in NYC to critical acclaimed and an extended run this March.
