World’s Greatest Party Band THE B-52S is throwing the World’s Greatest Halloween Party in Atlanta! The B-52's are looking for four Foxy dancers to join them onstage during their concert at the Fox Theatre on Friday night. So Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, and Cindy Wilson are judging the ultimate dance & costume contest Thursday, October 29th at Burkhart's (1492 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta). Contestants will shimmy and shake their honey buns in hopes of earning a spot to dance live onstage with The B-52s the following night! "We're looking for the sassiest dance moves and the trashiest costumes in town," says B-52s singer Fred Schneider. "Look out, Atlanta! We're ready to find the dancers who can help us turn the Fox Theatre into a Wild Thing!"
Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, and Cindy Wilson formed the World's Greatest Party Band while they were students at the University of Georgia in Athens, along with Keith Strickland and Ricky Wilson. The B-52s have released seven studio albums, spawning hit singles and dance floor classics like Love Shack, Rock Lobster, Roam, Planet Claire, and Private Idaho.
